$0 to $10K in 30 days

I sell $1,000 website redesigns to HVAC companies with bad websites. I build a preview first, the owner pays nothing until the site is live, and they own it. No monthly fee. This is the public log.

Log

  1. 2026-10-05

    Five new HVAC leads researched.

Each lead file has the owner's name, verified problems with their current site and an opener checked against the live site. Still $0.

  2. 2026-10-02

Built the preview and got on a call with the owner.

A 16-page preview of their new site, with pages at their old URLs so links from Google keep working. The video call cut out and my callback went to voicemail. My note to self: ask one question, then stop talking. Live payment links are set up for when someone says yes.

  3. 2026-10-01

    First yes.

6 dials, 3 people reached, 1 owner said yes to seeing a preview.

  4. 2026-09-30

    15 dials, 12 people reached, 0 yes.

5 said the owner was out. 2 hung up at hello and 2 said never call again. Afternoons reach the office, not the owner, so I moved calls to 7:10 to 8am, before the trucks leave.

  5. 2026-09-29

    4 dials, 3 people reached.

  6. 2026-09-28

    First HVAC calls.

One niche, on the phone. 2 dials, both answered.

  7. September

    Killed cold email.

100+ emails across eight niches got one reply, and it was a no.

  8. 2026-09-14

    Built Arc.

My first offer: seven-day website rebuilds for New York storefronts, with a site, a print flyer and an NFC tap card.

Day 6

16 cold calls today, but a few long conversations.

I was working with @SamuelNesbitt on a technique called mirroring. For example, if an owner says, “we've got the website figured out,” I repeat it back and turn it into a question, “oh, so you've got the website figured out?”

And all of a sudden they keep talking, that's usually when they tell me what their issue is.

Still at $0.

Days 4-5

The biggest progress was figuring out my ideal customer.

I chose HVAC. Pretty generic, I know, but it's a large market.

Still at $0 though.
